The Hettich MIKRO 200 (and cooled version MIKRO 200 R) is a compact yet powerful microcentrifuge designed for laboratories needing high-speed centrifugation of small volumes. It supports up to 30 micro-tubes (1.5/2.0 mL) or PCR strips/spin columns, delivering a maximum RCF of 21,382 — among the highest in its class.
For temperature-sensitive applications, the MIKRO 200 R variant includes cooling capability (from –10 °C to +40 °C), making it suitable for enzymatic reactions, RNA/DNA extraction, or sensitive sample prep requiring temperature control.
Compact dimension and relatively low noise (≈ 54 dB) make it ideal for small labs, research, diagnostics, forensic labs, or field-ready molecular biology setups.
