The LUNA-II™ from Logos Biosystems is a benchtop automated cell counter designed to simplify and accelerate the cell counting process. With minimal user effort, simply insert your sample, press “count,” and the instrument auto-focuses, adjusts light, captures a high-resolution image, and analyses it — producing number and viability data in as little as 15 seconds.
The system distinguishes live and dead cells automatically (green for live, red for dead), with optional custom counting protocols for different cell types. It’s compact — fits easily inside a biosafety cabinet or on a lab bench — making it well-suited for routine cell culture labs, QC labs, biomanufacturing QC, academic research, or any lab workflow that requires consistent, reproducible cell counts.
